

Jorge Mario Velásquez, president of Grupo Argos, received recognition for the Construction Leader Merit by the National Board of Directors of Camacol
27 August 2021- The award was made at the closing session of the Premio Nacional de Periodismo Camacol and Premio a la Responsabilidad Social, which was attended by the President of the Republic, Iván Duque Márquez.
- The Leading Construction Merit is the recognition given by the Colombian Cámara Colombiana de la Construcción to entrepreneurs who have provided services that have allowed the sector to develop and advance for the benefit of millions of Colombians.
This Friday Jorge Mario Velásquez, president of Grupo Argos, received the Construction Leader Merit – Gold Medal Degree from the National Board of Directors of the Colombian Chamber of Construction, in recognition of the eminent services he has provided as a business leader to the sector.
“We want to highlight his remarkable professional, business and leadership career, and recognize his invaluable contributions to the progress of the value chain of construction activity in Colombia and to the vision of our union such as leading responsible and sustainable urban development, reducing the deficit of housing and the projection of the sector towards new business opportunities and towards new markets ”.
