Grupo Argos joins Donatón por Medellín, contributing 400 million pesos

• This contribution of 400 million pesos to # DonatónPorMedellín joins the 10,000 million pesos recently donated by Grupo Empresarial Argos through its foundation to strengthen the hospital capacity of Medellín.

• Additionally, Grupo Argos and its companies Cementos Argos, Celsia and Odinsa have been promoting a campaign that is mainly nourished by contributions from its collaborators called “Un Llamado a la Empatía”, an initiative that provides resources to support informal workers and to the date has benefited more than 4,000 vulnerable families in Colombia. With resources from this campaign, an additional 400 million pesos will be contributed to join the alliance with the Sura, Nutresa and Bancolombia foundations to bring food to vulnerable families in the country.

Aware of the situation we are facing due to Covid-19 and with the purpose of providing solutions, resources and mobilizing intentions to collectively overcome the emergency, Grupo Argos, through its Foundation, joins the call of Mayor Daniel Quintero to support the Donatón por Medellín.

This initiative seeks to materialize a city solidarity effort, which funds will be collected to care for the most vulnerable population due to the health emergency associated with Covid-19.

Grupo Argos and its companies Cementos Argos, Celsia and Odinsa call for unity and solidarity and also invite the different actors to join this important cause.
