Grupo Empresarial Argos Leaders Rank Among Colombia’s Most Reputable Business Leaders, According to Merco Líderes 2026

• Juan Esteban Calle, President of Grupo Argos, climbed from 27th to 11th place in the Merco Líderes 2026 ranking, entering the top 20.
• Ricardo Sierra, President of Celsia, ranked 17th, maintaining his position among the top 20 for the fifth consecutive year.
• Jorge Mario Velásquez, who served as President of Grupo Argos until March 2026, remained in the top 10, reflecting recognition of a distinguished career that helped strengthen the organization’s reputation and long-term vision.

The Corporate Reputation Business Monitor (Merco) announced the results of Merco Líderes 2026, which recognizes Colombia’s most reputable business leaders. In this edition, Juan Esteban Calle, President of Grupo Argos, ranked 11th, entering the top 20 in the same year he assumed the company’s presidency and a new phase of strategic evolution was announced, focused on accelerating value creation and transfer to shareholders through the ACE 1.0 program.

Meanwhile, Ricardo Sierra, President of Celsia, ranked 17th, maintaining his position among Colombia’s top 20 business leaders for the fifth consecutive year. Jorge Mario Velásquez, who led Grupo Argos until March 2026, also remained in the top 10 of Merco Líderes. This result continues the recognition he has received for his distinguished career and his contribution to transforming Grupo Argos into a regional investment platform focused on building materials and infrastructure.
