  • The funds will be invested in home improvements and reconstruction. The contributions will be supported by the technical teams from Cementos Argos, Celsia, and Odinsa to ensure they are used effectively.
  • Individuals and companies in Colombia and abroad can join the campaign by donating here. For every peso donated, Grupo Argos and Nicky Jam will contribute an additional peso.
  • During the first days of the humanitarian crisis, employees and family members from the companies of Grupo Empresarial Argos and its Foundation have contributed more than COP 1 billion, which is being used to provide water and essential supplies to people in the areas most affected by the August 10 earthquake.

Grupo Empresarial Argos and artist and activist Nicky Jam have joined forces to launch Adopta un Hogar, a campaign through which they will donate COP 13 billion to rebuild homes in Chocó, the Coffee Region, and Valle del Cauca, with the aim of supporting the well-being of the families most affected by the recent natural disaster in Colombia. The initiative joins Fondo Milagro and the broader efforts and initiatives led by National Government institutions, Ana Lucía Pineda, First Lady of Colombia, departmental governments, and municipal administrations.

This is an open initiative that individuals and companies in Colombia and abroad can join. For every peso donated, Grupo Argos and Nicky Jam will contribute an additional peso, with the goal of reaching COP 26 billion. Through these contributions, the partnership aims to rebuild or repair homes in the hardest-hit areas.

“At times like these, we reaffirm with absolute conviction our purpose of helping build the country by bringing together our capabilities and supporting those who need it most. We are proud of this partnership with an artist like Nicky Jam, who shares this same commitment, and we are confident that together we will help thousands of people overcome this difficult moment.”

“Colombia, my people, my heart is with you. To all the artists, to everyone who can join us, I’m calling on you: let’s adopt homes, let’s be there for those who are losing everything in this tragedy. Together, we can do more. Colombia is not alone.”

To maximize the impact of the contributions, Grupo Empresarial Argos will make its technical teams and the capabilities of its Casa para mí and Hogares Saludables programs available to Adopta un Hogar. The first focuses on providing housing solutions while maximizing the efficiency and quality of homes for low-income families. Hogares Saludables, meanwhile, is aimed at improving homes in vulnerable conditions.

Adopta un Hogar builds on the efforts made in recent days by employees and family members of Grupo Empresarial Argos and its Foundation, who have contributed more than COP 1 billion. These funds are being used to provide water and essential supplies in Chocó, the Coffee Region, and Valle del Cauca.
