Read moreThis Thursday, February 8, the third cohort of the Chair of Sustainability and Climate Change from the National University of Colombia and Grupo Argos was inaugurated, being the first to be offered at a national level. More than 300 students from all majors at seven University campuses will have access to tools and practical cases that illustrate the theoretical application of sustainability in the construction materials, energy, and road and airport concessions industries.
The 16 sessions of the Chair will be led by more than 20 collaborators from Grupo Argos, Cementos Argos, Celsia, and Odinsa, and 10 teachers from the University, which consolidates this initiative as a key process of the joint work between the public university and the private sector to continue strengthening education in sustainability and the development of innovative solutions to climate change.

Regarding the framework agreement between the National University of Colombia and Grupo Argos
The agreement includes the identification and financing of projects for the use of CO2, renewable energies, and the financial viability of initiatives associated with new technological developments. Similarly, the alliance facilitates the exchange of academic opportunities and the connection of employment and internship opportunities for University graduates in the various companies of Grupo Argos.
To date, 5 research projects on different cutting-edge topics of the industry, particularly climate change, have been advanced with the aim of continuing to make progress in meeting the commitments made by the company and contributing to the solution of key issues for society.
