Grupo Argos will pay COP 109,000 million in dividends between July 5 and 13
6 July 2022- The total dividend declared in the year represents more than COP 430 billion that will be distributed to the company’s shareholders in four installments.
- Consistent with the financial results and the positive prospects for Grupo Argos’ businesses in 2022, the payment of a dividend of COP 500 per share was approved at the ordinary meeting of the General Assembly of Shareholders held in March, which represents an increase of 31% compared to 2021.
- Last year Grupo Argos reached the highest revenues in its history with COP 16.3 trillion, growing 17%, an EBITDA that reached COP 4.3 trillion with a year-on-year increase of 29% and a net profit of COP 1.2 trillion, which represents an increase of 6.8 times over the previous year.
In line with the financial results and the positive outlook for Grupo Argos’ businesses, between July 5 and 13, the second of four dividend payments will be made to the company’s shareholders for COP 125 per share, which will add a total of COP 500 per share. This value represents an increase of 31% compared to 2021 and more than COP 430 billion that will be distributed to the company’s shareholders.
At the end of 2021, Grupo Argos reached the highest revenues in its history with COP 16.3 trillion, growing 17%, an EBITDA that reached COP 4.3 trillion with a year-on-year increase of 29% and a net profit of COP 1.2 trillion, which represents an increase of 6.8 times compared to the previous year.
Between the years 2000 and 2022, the dividend per share has grown at a compound annual rate of 9.1%.
