Grupo Argos joins the Donatón por Bogotá, contributing 400 million pesos

• This contribution of 400 million pesos to #DonatónPorBogotá joins the 400 million pesos donated last week to # DonatónPorMedellín and the 10.000 million pesos donated by Grupo Empresarial Argos through its foundation to strengthen the hospital capacity of the country.
• Along the same lines, Grupo Argos and its companies Cementos Argos, Celsia and Odinsa have been promoting a campaign that is largely nourished by contributions from its employees called “Un Llamado a la Empatía”, an initiative that seeks to provide resources to support informal workers and that to date, it has benefited more than 5,000 vulnerable families in this emergency in Colombia. With resources from this campaign, an additional 400 million pesos will be contributed to join the alliance with the Sura, Bancolombia and Nutresa foundations to bring food to vulnerable families in the country.
• To date, Grupo Empresarial Argos has made contributions of around 13.000 million pesos aimed at strengthening efforts to face the pandemic and ensure the most vulnerable families during this situation.

Aware of the situation facing the country due to the Covid-19 health emergency and in order to provide solutions, resources and mobilize wills to overcome this situation as a society, Grupo Argos, through its Foundation, joins the call of the Mayor of Bogotá, Claudia López to support the #DonatónPorBogotá and continue joining efforts to advance with the union of all Colombians.

The Donatón por Bogotá seeks to materialize a great city solidarity effort, an initiative through which funds will be collected to care for the most vulnerable population due to the health emergency caused by Covid-19.

Grupo Argos and its companies Cementos Argos, Celsia and Odinsa call for unity and solidarity and also invite the different actors in the city to join this important initiative.
