The Grupo Empresarial Argos presents its interactive art collection website, featuring over 350 works by national and international artists. The collection reflects 90 years of Colombian history and the company’s dedication to culture and its belief in art’s positive transformational power through various expressions as a means of understanding reality.

This initiative offers public access to the company’s art collection and showcases the talented artists who have elevated the cultural scene in the country and narrate its evolution through their works. It also serves as an academic and research tool, supporting the artistic, cultural, and educational sectors by featuring context and historical photographs from Medellín, part of the Pilot Public Library’s historical archive. These elements provide the viewer with a sense of the time and place in which each piece of art was created.

The Grupo Empresarial Argos’ interactive Art Collection website is open to the public and features works by renowned national and international artists such as Pedro Nel Gómez, Ana Patricia Palacios, Luis Fernando Peláez, and Beatriz González, who have depicted historical moments of the country through various techniques. During the virtual tour, viewers are encouraged to share their thoughts and opinions on the works.

“At Grupo Empresarial Argos, we firmly believe in the transformative power of art to creatively and constructively interpret our society’s reality. Today, we make our Art Collection’s website available to the public with the aim of showcasing the amazing works of talented artists, and with the conviction that these works are a valuable cultural heritage for building citizenship.” Iván Trujillo, Manager of Institutional Affairs and Communications, Grupo Argos.

In addition to this project, Grupo Argos has made other commitments to support and promote the artistic and cultural sector in Colombia, such as its involvement in the revitalization of the San Ignacio District, where creative, cultural, and educational activities are promoted to encourage the local community’s engagement with the area. The company also supports various cultural events and initiatives organized by groups and institutions within the country.
