Grupo Empresarial Argos recognized in the Alas20 ranking that highlights companies with good practices in the public disclosure of information on sustainability

The measurement highlighted Grupo Argos, Cementos Argos and Celsia as leading companies in the Corporate Governance component, placing them in positions 5, 4 and 3, respectively, recognizing the good practices in this matter by making available to their stakeholders the background on how it is being managed and controlled in favor of sustainable development.

The ranking also recognized Celsia and Cementos Argos in the sustainability and investor relations categories; the first highlights the integration of the concerns of its stakeholders and the adoption of the best environmental, social, and economic practices, beyond legal and regulatory compliance. In the second category, the process carried out by Grupo Argos’ energy and construction materials businesses to make the necessary corporate information available to the capital market for making investment decisions was recognized.

ALAS20 is a Latin American initiative that comprehensively evaluates, qualifies and recognizes excellence in the public disclosure of information on sustainable development practices, corporate governance, and responsible investment by companies and investors in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Mexico and Perú.
