Grupo Argos and Cementos Argos recognized by S&P Global as Global Leaders in Sustainability

  • The latest edition of the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook recognized Grupo Argos and Cementos Argos as being among the top 5% of companies with the highest scores in environmental, social, and corporate governance. This result reinforces their leadership in transparent and comprehensive sustainability management at a global level.
  • In this edition, Grupo Argos received exceptional scores for its management of factors such as corporate governance, human rights, risks, corporate citizenship, and philanthropy. Cementos Argos distinguished itself in the construction materials industry by excelling in areas such as its climate change strategy, water risk management, risk and crisis management, and its approach to corporate citizenship and philanthropy.
  • This is the tenth consecutive year that the companies of the Grupo Empresarial Argos have been recognized in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook, a global reference index for investors and governments that measures the performance of companies in economic, environmental, and social matters. This year, over 7,800 companies were evaluated.

Two companies from the Argos Business Group received the highest distinctions in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook, the reference index for investors and governments that measures the economic, environmental and social performance of companies globally. In this edition, Grupo Argos and Cementos Argos stood out among the 5% of the most sustainable companies in the world out of more than 7,800 companies that were evaluated for their transparent and comprehensive management of sustainability.

The Grupo empresarial Argos’ two companies have been recognized as leaders in sustainability in the latest edition of the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook, a globally recognized index for investors and governments that assesses the economic, environmental, and social performance of companies. Among over 7,800 evaluated companies, Grupo Argos and Cementos Argos stood out in the top 5% for their exceptional management of sustainability in terms of transparency and comprehensiveness.
