Grupo Argos and Cementos Argos Once Again Among the World's Most Sustainable Companies According to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index

• Cementos Argos achieved a score of 89 points in the 2024 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment, positioning itself as the world’s most sustainable company in the construction materials sector, earning a 100th percentile ranking.
• Grupo Argos scored 85 out of 100 in the same assessment, with a 99th percentile ranking in its global environmental, social, and corporate governance management.
• For 12 consecutive years, companies from the Argos Business Group have been recognized for their outstanding sustainability performance, aligned with their business vision focused on creating comprehensive value for their stakeholders.

This Monday, December 23, S&P Global announced updates to the composition of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices, where Grupo Argos and Cementos Argos secured their positions for the 13th consecutive year. Cementos Argos achieved a remarkable score of 89 out of 100, earning first place in the construction materials industry, while Grupo Argos scored 85 points, placing second in the same sector. Both companies stood out for their exceptional performance in social, environmental, and corporate governance practices.

These achievements led to Cementos Argos being included in the MILA Index and Grupo Argos being reaffirmed in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index and Emerging Markets Index.
