ACE 1.0

Grupo Argos Advances ACE 1.0 Through Financial Transactions at Opain and Pacífico 2, Two Odinsa Concessions

30 September 2026
  • The refinancing of Opain’s USD 185 million debt will release USD 55 million in capital and accelerate distributions to its shareholders, improving returns on invested capital.
  • Meanwhile, the proceeds from Pacífico 2’s COP 510 billion financing will be allocated to general corporate and operational purposes, as well as dividend distributions and the fulfillment of the concession’s financial obligations.
  • Together, these transactions will accelerate cash flows to Odinsa totaling COP 195 billion.
  • These transactions are part of the ACE 1.0 program, specifically its second and third pillars. They contribute to Odinsa’s consolidation as an asset manager while strengthening Grupo Argos’ cash generation and capital allocation flexibility, enabling the company to accelerate its share repurchase program.

Grupo Argos continues to make progress in the execution of ACE 1.0 through financial transactions at Opain and Pacífico 2, two concessions managed by Odinsa.

Opain, the concessionaire responsible for the management, operation, and maintenance of Bogotá’s El Dorado International Airport, completed a USD 185 million refinancing transaction, reducing its cost of debt, accelerating dividend distributions to its shareholders, and improving returns on invested capital.

Meanwhile, Pacífico 2 completed a COP 510 billion financing transaction, with the proceeds to be allocated to general corporate and operational purposes, dividend distributions to its shareholders, and the fulfillment of the concession’s financial obligations.

For Grupo Argos, these transactions represent another milestone in the ACE 1.0 program, which includes portfolio management initiatives aimed at accelerating cash generation and distributions, unlocking capital from mature assets, and strengthening the company’s ability to allocate capital to opportunities that offer the highest returns for its shareholders.

These transactions build on the initiatives implemented since the announcement of ACE 1.0 and enhance the company’s financial flexibility to continue executing this strategic roadmap. They also demonstrate the financial and asset management capabilities that Odinsa continues to strengthen as it evolves into Grupo Argos Asset Management, Grupo Argos’ sole asset manager.

“These transactions demonstrate how Odinsa’s capabilities and experience contribute to improving asset returns, accelerating distributions, and unlocking capital to strengthen our ability to allocate resources to opportunities that offer the highest returns for Grupo Argos’ shareholders. We will continue executing this roadmap with discipline, ensuring that every decision contributes to delivering higher returns and accelerating the generation, capture, and transfer of value to our shareholders.”
