December 5, 2019 • During this year, Argos business group associates have dedicated more than 8 thousand hours to volunteer activities. • This program has benefited more than 6 thousand people in 2019 through comprehensive actions dedicated to the transformation of communities. • As part of the celebration of International Volunteer Day, the Fundación Grupo Argos recounts the results of its volunteering in infrastructure, environment and animal protection, knowledge transfer, solidarity funds and inclusive businesses. During 2019, the volunteer of the Fundación Grupo Argos has benefited more than 6 thousand people with 70 activities in which more than 2 thousand employees of Grupo Argos, Cementos Argos, Celsia and Odinsa have participated. This program promotes solidarity by mobilizing volunteers in high-impact, sustainable and transformative projects. The volunteers contribute in diverse schedules that include the improvement of educational and housing infrastructure, environment and animal protection, mentoring, knowledge transfer and donation to solidarity funds. The objective is to put all their individual capacities together to obtain results with collective impact, a purpose that has allowed the planting of more than 18 thousand trees and the improvement of 12 educational institutions between 2018 and 2019, in addition to the construction of more than 20 homes in the historic of the program |

Over COP 12.4 billion were invested in the construction, of which COP 4.8 billion come from the contribution of the Grupo Argos Foundation and Odinsa, COP 1.2 billion from Coca-Cola, COP 5.5 billion from the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management, and COP 1 billion from the Government of San Andrés, Providencia, and Santa Catalina.
