Grupo Argos will pay over COP 499 billion in dividends to its shareholders. The first payment will be made this Tuesday, April 11th.
10 April 2023- During the last ordinary Shareholders’ Assembly meeting of Grupo Argos, a dividend of COP 575 per share was approved, representing a 15% increase compared to last year and reflecting the organization’s solid performance in its results.
- The dividends will be paid in cash in four quarterly installments at a rate of COP 143.7 per share for each quarterly installment starting from this Tuesday, April 11th, 2023.
- In 2022, Grupo Argos presented unprecedented financial results in its nearly 90-year history, with revenues reaching COP 21.3 trillion (+31%), an EBITDA of COP 5.2 trillion (+21%), and a net profit that closed at COP 1.4 trillion.
As a result of its selective and profitable growth strategy and in line with the financial results presented by Grupo Argos and the outstanding performance of its businesses, this Tuesday, April 11th, the first of four dividend payments will be made, with a value of COP 143.7 per share. During the last ordinary Shareholders’ Assembly meeting, a total of COP 575 per share was approved, representing a 15% increase compared to the previous year and totaling a transfer of value to shareholders of COP 499 billion in 2023 in this concept.
At the close of 2022, Grupo Argos presented unprecedented financial results in its almost 90-year history. Revenues reached COP 21.3 trillion, with a growth of 31%, and EBITDA reached COP 5.2 trillion, increasing by 21%. Meanwhile, net profit closed at COP 1.4 trillion, while the net profit of the parent company amounted to COP 881 billion. Since 1938, when it distributed its first dividends, Grupo Argos has never stopped distributing them.
The payments will be made in the months of April, July, and October 2023, and January 2024, between the 11th and 19th of the respective month.
