  • This milestone represents another step forward in the company’s international visibility and positioning as part of the ACE 1.0 program.
  • The inclusion enhances the share’s liquidity and international visibility, creating better conditions to accelerate the convergence of its market price toward Grupo Argos’ fundamental value.

Grupo Argos continues to strengthen the positioning of its shares in international capital markets with the inclusion of its preferred share in the FTSE Russell Index, one of the leading global benchmarks used by institutional investors. This milestone follows the inclusion of Grupo Argos’ preferred share in the MSCI Small Cap Index, announced on August 12, expanding the company’s presence across two of the world’s leading index families and strengthening its visibility among a broad base of global investors.

The announcement comes within the framework of ACE 1.0, Argos Convergence Effort, the program announced by Grupo Argos on August 5 to accelerate value generation, capture, and transfer, with the goal of helping the company’s market price converge toward its fundamental value. ACE 1.0 is structured around three main areas of focus: (i) operational excellence; (ii) consolidation of the asset management business; and (iii) acceleration of the share repurchase program. Through this agenda, Grupo Argos seeks to strengthen the profitability and cash generation of its companies, consolidate its asset management platform, and leverage its capital allocation capabilities to increase the value transferred to shareholders.

“The inclusion of our share in the FTSE Russell Index, just days after its entry into the MSCI Small Cap Index, represents an important step forward in Grupo Argos’ positioning in international markets. These milestones increase the company’s visibility among global investors and are aligned with the objectives we set with ACE.”
