• The IR Seal is an acknowledgment to issuers who voluntarily adopt best practices regarding disclosure of information and relationship with investors.
• This renewal is recognition of the ethical, transparent and sustainable actions of Grupo Argos, Argos and Celsia in the stock market.
Grupo Argos and its subsidiaries Argos, Celsia and Odinsa, received the renewal of the IR Issuer Recognition (Investor Relation) of the Colombian Stock Exchange, for their adoption of best practices in the area of information disclosure and relationship with investors.
The seal aims to highlight organizations that meet the highest standards of corporate governance, especially those that have to do with providing sufficient and adequate information for the investing public. To achieve this, it is essential to have a communication channel that allows the issuer to present the company, as well as strengthen trust and credibility among the investment community.
“At Grupo Argos we believe that transparency is an essential mechanism to generate value for our shareholders and investors, that is why we are committed to the management of the best Corporate Governance practices and contribute to continue strengthening the standards for securities issuers in the country”, Jorge Mario Velásquez, president of Grupo Argos.
Among the requirements to access the IR Recognition is to disclose additional information to that required in an ordinary way, in English and Spanish on its website, keeping it timely updated, have a representative to answer investors inquiries, publish financial statements ( balance sheet and income statement) with consolidated figures on a quarterly basis and holding quarterly financial results delivery events.
