Grupo Argos participated for the fifth consecutive year, through its Foundation, in Carrera Verde, a competition that seeks to mobilize society around forest care. The first version of the year had place yesterday in Bogotá, in which, thanks to the participation of 6,000 persons, 18,000 trees of native species will be planted in the coming months. Actions like these are the guarantee for the future of the planet and are born from the commitment to the ecological restoration of the country.

The event, which is led by Fundación Natura and supported by Grupo Argos, was attended by adults, children, elders and people with disabilities, who by participating contributed three trees under the ecological restoration scheme. These native species will be sown during the next months.

“For us at Grupo Argos it is very gratifying to see that more and more Colombians join forces in activities such as this race, as a response to the commitment that we all must have with the environment. The participation we make from the Business Group in this space is in line with our purpose of carrying out actions for the conservation and preservation of biodiversity, ”said Maria Camila Villegas, Director of Conservation of Fundación Grupo Argos.
