“Once a year, through Fundación Grupo Argos, we build bridges between the employees of our companies and the communities, mobilizing their talent and energy through projects and activities that allow them to contribute to addressing the needs of these territories.”

María Camila Villegas
Executive Director, Grupo Argos Foundation

This year, in light of the ongoing rainy season affecting the country, Grupo Argos Foundation has also included the collection of humanitarian aid for communities in the metropolitan area of Medellín and the municipality of La Pintada, located in southwestern Antioquia.

Overall, this year’s volunteer activities will focus on three main lines of action:

  • Environmental restoration through activities such as planting native trees, setting up school gardens, and restoring strategic ecosystems.
  • Improvement of social and community infrastructure, with interventions in rural schools, community centers, and public spaces, contributing to more dignified and functional environments for communities.
  • Knowledge transfer through workshops and educational visits.

Sustainable impact over time
Over the past three years, Grupo Argos Foundation has mobilized more than 3,000 volunteers in over 90 activities across countries in the region, generating direct impacts in education, community infrastructure, and ecosystem restoration.
