Grupo Empresarial Argos continues to position its companies among the most reputable in Colombia, according to the Merco Corporate Reputation Business Monitor (Merco). For the fourth consecutive year, Grupo Argos was included in the top 10 companies with the strongest reputation in the country, ranking 6th and climbing two positions. Cementos Argos ranked 15th, moving up one place; Celsia ranked 45th; and Odinsa placed 155th overall, ranking 4th among construction and infrastructure companies.
In addition, Merco Líderes recognized today the presidents of Grupo Argos and its businesses among the leaders with the strongest reputation in Colombia. Jorge Mario Velásquez, President of Grupo Argos, entered the top 5, rising two positions versus the previous edition and remaining in the top 10 for the ninth consecutive year. Achievements such as the execution of the Spin-off Project—through which the Company distributed more than COP 10.8 trillion to its shareholders—his leadership in value-unlocking initiatives, and the structuring of a project pipeline of nearly COP 40 trillion in construction materials and infrastructure were considered by the monitor in assessing the executive.
Juan Esteban Calle, President of Cementos Argos, reached position 27 in the ranking, among other reasons due to his leadership in executing the SPRINT program, a strategy now in its third phase designed to strengthen share value through a share repurchase program, operational efficiency initiatives, and value unlocking for all shareholders.
Ricardo Sierra, President of Celsia, ranked 14th in Merco Líderes 2025, reflecting his leadership in Colombia’s energy transition, as well as the Company’s entry into Peru to develop non-conventional renewable energy projects and the creation of Atera, an energy efficiency company established in partnership with Brookfield.
This recognition reflects the culture of an organization of more than 9,500 people and over 90 years of history, with operations across construction materials, energy, concessions, and real estate income businesses.
