Grupo Argos, Cementos Argos, Celsia and Odinsa Among the Most Sustainable Companies Globally According to the S&P Global Yearbook
18 February 2026- On Wednesday, February 18, the 2026 S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook was published, highlighting companies from Grupo Empresarial Argos among those with the strongest environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) performance in their respective industries, following the outstanding scores they received in the 2025 Corporate Sustainability Assessment.
- Grupo Argos and its companies stood out for their exceptional performance in transparency, water management, human rights, and human capital management, among other criteria.
- This recognition reaffirms Grupo Empresarial Argos’ sustainability strategy and its vision of creating long-term value for shareholders, investors, employees, communities, and suppliers.
The companies of Grupo Empresarial Argos were recognized in the 2026 S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook as international benchmarks for environmental, social, and governance (ESG) best practices within their respective industries.
The publication considered the results of S&P’s 2025 Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) and highlighted Grupo Argos and its businesses Cementos Argos, Celsia, and Odinsa for their comprehensive and consistent performance. The recognition category was defined according to each company’s relative performance within its industry. Among the most notable results are:
- Grupo Argos: Included this year in the Top 5% category within the Construction Materials industry, based on its 2025 CSA score of 84/100 as of February 5, 2026. This result validates its strategic focus on transparency, water management, human rights, and human capital management.
- Cementos Argos: Recognized in the Top 1% category within the Construction Materials industry, based on its 2025 CSA score of 86/100 as of February 5, 2026. This distinction reflects its excellence in risk management, information security, water management, human rights, and community engagement.
- Celsia: Awarded the Top 10% category within the Electric Utilities industry this year, according to its 2025 CSA score of 85/100 as of February 5, 2026. The company stood out in risk management, customer management, water management, and biodiversity.
- Odinsa: Included this year as a Yearbook Member within the Construction industry, based on its 2025 CSA score of 71/100 as of February 5, 2026. Key factors in its result included performance in transparency and reporting, cybersecurity, materiality, talent management, and user satisfaction.
This global recognition results from the comprehensive evaluation of more than 8,551 companies across various industries. Only 800 companies, spanning 59 industries, achieved placement among the highest distinctions for sustainable and integrated value management.

The S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook is an international benchmarking tool that evaluates ESG factors and is one of the most recognized global references for assessing organizations’ sustainability performance. Its rigorous and comparable methodology aligns with market, investor, and societal expectations. The evaluation process, based on the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), identifies companies that not only manage their impacts but also integrate environmental, social, and governance criteria into strategic decision-making.
Inclusion in the Yearbook requires outstanding performance within the top 15% of the respective industry and achieving a Corporate Sustainability Assessment score within the top 30% of the industry’s best-performing companies.
