Grupo Argos and its energy company, Celsia, were recognized by Forbes among the 50 leading companies in sustainability in Colombia

Grupo Argos and Celsia were included by Forbes Colombia in the list of “The 50 Leading Companies in Sustainability in Colombia 2025,” a selection that recognizes companies that, in addition to having a solid financial position, have demonstrated their commitment to sustainability through concrete progress in their operations. Their inclusion in this list reaffirms the leadership of Grupo Empresarial Argos companies in implementing high sustainability standards and delivering outstanding results in the management of environmental, social, and corporate governance matters.

Among the criteria highlighted by the magazine is the presence of Grupo Empresarial companies in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, their position in the Merco ESG ranking, among others. In 2025, Grupo Argos achieved outstanding results, ranking second in the construction materials industry and consolidating its presence for more than 13 consecutive years within the top 5% of its sector. Celsia, for its part, ranked among the world’s top 10 companies in the electric utilities industry, positioning itself as the leading company in this sector in Colombia.

The list also highlights Grupo Argos’ sustainability strategy, which—being transversal to all the companies of the Group—has enabled a 42% reduction in carbon dioxide emission intensity, advancing toward its 2030 target. It also underscores Celsia’s leadership in renewable energy, energy efficiency programs, and water resource management.
