  • In the first stage, a total of 16 cultural organizations of the San Ignacio District will begin to receive mentoring sessions by volunteers from partner companies to strengthen their sustainability and the creation of plans that allow them to adapt their business models to the current situation.
  • The accompaniment process will last six months and also includes group meetings with specialists to train cultural organizations with tools that allow them to enhance their work.
  • The beneficiary entities currently directly employ about 300 people.

In order to contribute to the sustainability of the cultural sector in the city, Grupo Argos, Sura Fundación, Comfama and Proantioquia, joined together through the San Ignacio District to accompany 16 cultural entities, including theaters, museums, musical companies and groups of artists, identified challenges and will work together with expert mentors from partner companies in the search for alternatives to overcome the effects of confinement associated with the pandemic and that put their permanence over time at risk.

With a methodology that includes volunteer mentoring and group workshops with experts, cultural entities will begin to receive personalized support. To this end, 16 working groups were formed made up of volunteers from the different companies and organizations that are part of the project, who will hold monthly meetings with the entities and will address issues such as decision-making, sustainability, financial planning, management and advocacy.

“We are committed to territorial development and to the protection of the cultural network of the city through our Creamos Valor Social program, that is why we are proud to be part of a project that puts the needs of cultural entities at the center and mobilizes collaborators from our Business Group to put their talent at the service of others ”.
