Grupo Argos Foundation joins the United Nations Accelerate 2030 program to promote social entrepreneurship

  • • Accelerate 2030 is a project of the Impact Hub innovation laboratory and the United Nations Development Program that seeks to accompany social enterprises that address solutions for the Sustainable Development Goals, offering scaling strategies that allow them to multiply their impact internationally and reach other markets.
    • The enterprises will be evaluated during the process by experts and the winners of each thematic axis will receive benefits in kind for about COP 120 million in technology and the possibility of receiving support from the United Nations for another year.
    • In this version, Fundación Grupo Argos joins the program by making its technical expertise on water conservation issues available to enterprises and supporting with mentors those initiatives focused on guaranteeing the availability of drinking water in the Colombian territory.

Fundación Grupo Argos joins Accelerate 2030, the United Nations Development program that seeks to promote social enterprises that address solutions to the Sustainable Development Goals related to access to water, agriculture, logistics, female leadership, use of plastic and circular economy.

This program includes an intensive accompaniment to entrepreneurs for a week in which they will receive advice from experts on scaling strategies that allow them to multiply their impact internationally and reach other markets, as well as benefits in kind for COP 120 million in technology for improve their processes related to artificial intelligence, internet of things, data management, among others.

Fundación Grupo Argos’s participation in this program will allow, in addition to sharing its knowledge and expertise on issues related to water security and water conservation, to learn first-hand about innovative proposals on this issue and the possibility of making high-impact alliances to start implementing cost efficient solutions nationwide.

Those entrepreneurs who are winners in each of the thematic axes of the program will continue working one more year with the United Nations to continue scaling their projects and receive up to USD 150,000 in benefits.
